American Eagle Gold and Silver Bullion Coin Sales by Month

USAGOLD note: With four and a half months still to go in 2020, sales of gold and silver American Eagle bullion coins for 2020 have already exceeded 2019’s pace. The U.S. Mint produced 371,000 ounces of the popular gold bullion coin in 2019 and 823,500 ounces through August 15, 2020. Total sales of American Eagle silver bullion coins for 2019 was 14,863,500 compared with 15,294,000 so far in 2020. Bullion coins sales serve as a bellwether for overall interest in the physical metals among investors.
