Powell: 'We aren't returning to the economic climate we had prior to the pandemic'
Although it is still uncertain whether the delta variant could have a substantial effect on financial development, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell stated the reserve bank remains in the process of putting away its emergency devices.
" We can see that the pandemic has altered our economy. Just time will inform how long-term these changes will be. We are not going back to the economy we had prior to the pandemic," Powell during the 'Discussion with the Chair: A Virtual Educator and Student City Center Fulfilling.'

Even though it is still unclear whether the delta variant could have a significant impact on economic growth, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said the central bank is in the process of putting away its emergency tools.
"We can see that the pandemic has changed our economy. Only time will tell how lasting these changes will be. We are not going back to the economy we had before the pandemic," Powell during the 'Conversation with the Chair: A Virtual Teacher and Student Town Hall Meeting.'
