Diamonds are not always placed in set patterns on jewellery. Many of our bespoke rings feature random, haphazard diamond arrangements. There is something beautiful about a little chaos when it comes to jewellery design.
Diamond scatter wedding rings feature small, brilliant cut diamonds, arranged in a random scattered pattern. Typically flush set, each diamond lies within a tidy setting sunk into the surface of the ring.

Every diamond scatter wedding ring we make is unique. This is due to the variation in diamond sizes and the random pattern created. Each scatter ring is slightly different. Also, we create rings in any width, style and precious metal. For example, a 5mm wide band in Platinum.

Some clients visit our showroom to choose from our plain wedding rings selection. Other clients discuss their exact requirements. This way, we ensure the perfect diamond scatter wedding ring.
In addition to diamonds, some clients prefer a full pattern around the ring. To save the expense of extra diamonds, we came up with the ‘Buckshot’ design shown in our main image. We drill small holes in addition to partial drill holes. Varying the size and arrangement of each hole, the ring achieves a random pattern. This way, we combine flush set diamonds, small polished indents and holes around the ring.
If you already own your own diamonds, we are happy to set these into a wedding band.
Firstly, we need to consider the depth of your diamonds. Most importantly, the largest diamond should be 0.2mm shallower than the depth of the ring. Diamond scatter wedding rings are perfect for using a selection of odd sized small diamonds.
Taking the plain wedding ring, we firstly mark on the ring where we would like the diamonds. We do this using a permanent marker. This technique allows our setter to understand the pattern needed.
At any time, we can wipe off the marker pen and start drawing again, until we work out the perfect random pattern for the diamonds.
