There is no lack of gold out there, however there are some severe "physical bottlenecks" for sure gold items that are just sitting in incorrect locations, Scotiabank said in its newest update.

" If there were a major scarcity of physical gold, spot gold prices would be trading at a premium to futures prices, which is not the case," Scotiabank product planner Nicky Shiels said on Friday.
