While ounces created might be down in 2020, the margins for gold miners may be better.
A number of precious metal producers are decreasing manufacturing because of federal government constraints in feedback to problems around the pandemic.
" [The elders] may produce less ounces, however I think the capacity for them to generate more margin on each ounce is pretty good," said Mazumdar.
