Canada's flow-through financing program stays the lifeblood for the junior source market.
According to Lisa Davis, CEO of PearTree Securities, flow-through bargains represent about 80% of funds for junior travelers.
On the sidelines of the 2020 PDAC mining conference, Davis informed Kitco Information that the market needs much more international investment. "If you can not find a way for foreign financiers to participate in these purchases, [mining firms] would be extra restricted in [increasing resources]" Davis included that fortunately is that international involvement is raising and cash is starting to flow back right into the mining market.

Shrinking Canadian mining sector needs to attract more foreign capital – PearTree Securities
Canada’s flow-through funding program remains the lifeblood for the junior resource sector.
According to Lisa Davis, CEO of PearTree Securities, flow-through deals account for about 80% of funds for junior explorers.
On the sidelines of the 2020 PDAC mining conference, Davis told Kitco News that the market needs more foreign investment. “If you can’t find a way for foreign investors to participate in these transactions, [mining companies] would be more limited in [raising capital].” Davis added that the good news is that foreign participation is increasing and money is starting to flow back into the mining sector.
