There is a "megatrend of global EV [electrical vehicle] fostering" occurring now, and China's main plan is to prioritize the production as well as intake of EVs as part of their strategy to lower their carbon footprint, claimed Brendan Ahern, CIO of KraneShares.
Ahern noted that Tesla's one-upmanship throughout this EV race will subside as well-known vehicle brands in addition to more recent ones from China are turning their focus to this field.
" Standard car makers, as well as upstart automobile makers, are really going to give Tesla a run for their money. If you think about firms that have been making cars and trucks for over 100 years. When they pivot towards EV they're going to have an incredible competitive threat to Tesla. Also, Tesla makes luxury cars and trucks. In China, we see a great deal of reduced rate companies," Ahern informed David Lin, anchor for Kitco Information.
